Bright blue hairs

From near distance all NPCs including my alter ego have bright blue hairs. When moving 10 meters away from the npcs it's fine again.
My alter ego is also fine within the ingame menus.
I'm using OCO but OR is the problem because I've tested without OblivionReloaded.dll and the issue was gone.
I've rebooted to clear cache, I've set nearly all OblivionReloaded.ini enties to 0. Nothing works.

My specs
- Windows 10 2004
- Core i5 6600K
- AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB VRam
- 16 GB Ram
- Newest drivers of all the stuff.
I'm using OR 8.2.2.
My Oblivion is installed outside the windows program folders to avoid UAC problems.

There is a package available here https://www.tesreloaded.com/t11-additional-packages that should fix the hair issue (last package). Install the textures folder into your \data directory.

Also, note that you are on AMD which is not officially supported by OR because Alenet does not have access to AMD cards and drivers.

Ok thanks. Maybe I spend him a new 6000er AMD card somewhere in the future. So he can see if there is anything to do.

If you want the best possible experience with OR use Nvidia. That said, I wouldn't choose a vendor based off of one game.

OCO2 + https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/48588 fixes the problem.

It seems sometimes it happens also in NVIDIA card, but i am not able to reproduce where/when. I should try OR on the vanilla game, but i installed several mods to test OR with mods and now i should reinstall a clean Oblivion to test better. I will do when i can.

The Lore-Friendly Hair Replacer does not fix it for me. I use that by default.

I also experience a similar bug:
At the same distance as the hair color bug of NPCs switches on/off also the hole body of npcs dissappears. Vise versa to the hair bug regarding distance. Means the body disappears at mid- to far distances but the cyan haircolor appears at near distances.
Also affects at least 8.2.1. I've just tested.

Did you try the fix I linked above?

Also, do you have EquipmentMode enabled? If so, disable it; it it buggy right now.

Yes the fix didn't help. It results in missing hairs if I install it after OCO or does not havy any effect if I install it before OCO.
Also the problem has been introduced in 8.20 and only appears within interiors.
No cyan or bright blue hair with 8.0.0.

I can confirm that the hair fix that can be found here on the forums under "additional packages" does fix the blue/torqoise hair issue.  Unfortunately, Alenet is wrong, and the "Lore-Friendly Hair Replacer" by default does suffer from the issue.  I believe the fix is to remove the alpha channel from the normal maps.  Any hair that has an alpha channel in the normal map will bug out.

Note that I am on Nvidia hardware and drivers.  I don't know if AMD drivers have changes that negates this fix.

@Alenet note that the hair issue only arises when under a light source. If there is no light, there is no issue.

I engaged the problem yesterday.
I dont have the issue because i dont have vanilla hair. The problem is only with vanilla hair.

I am fixing it.
