crash when closing Oblivion (OR v9.1.1)
Fri 29 Oct 2021, 23:06
Hello,
Oblivion crashs when I click quit after manually installing Oblivion Reload v9.1.1. Oblivion therefore never remembers the video settings in the game.
Moving the Oblivion Reload dll removes the problem. IKFoot is disabled.
A solution ?

One more question: what is the name of the option to deactivate the new dialog menu ?

I'm not sure about either of your problems, but I can say that the dialog problem is tied to CameraMode which cannot be disabled in 9.1.1. You'll have to roll back to a version when CM was optional or live with it. Or try ORLite. It removes CM.

Ok, thanks for the response to this problem. It's a shame that now the OR dialogs are not optional ...
I will wait for other answers for the other problems

Yeah. Design decisions by the developer. He has his reasons, which I'm sure make sense. I understand it's not to everyone's taste.

Returns to the main menu also crash the game.
Also, the torch does not count in my character's hand. I have attached a screenshot.

Got nothing for ya as far as the crash goes.
What do you mean by "count" with the torch? I believe you can disable torch mode by setting the key to 255.

Sorry, I use google translate too quickly: the torch is displayed incorrectly (previous screenshote). It does not light up either.
Thank you for the reply, I will wait for some updates to use OR, too bad for the moment...
Report my problems to the developers, please
Thank you

If you want a good, mostly bug free taste of OR, try OR Lite. All the best of OR, minus some serious bugs. There are no interior shadows, though. Good riddance, I say, because they are buggy as shit.

Oh, yeah, the latest version can only be downloaded from the Discord server. I don't know when there will be a centralized location for the mod.

Hello,
I tried Oblivion Reloaded Lite 6.9. I notice that my in-game video settings changes are forgotten when I close the game (which no longer seems to crash). I installed ORL manually in the game folders, but I am using MO2 with some mods in virtualized. Is MO2 involved with its oblivion.ini file specific to each profile?
Looking forward to your opinion. Thank you
Regards

The in-game settings (sliders) changing is because ORL sets the sliders that way in menu mode. In game mode, the settings are how you had them manually. I believe GBR (the author) is going to make that optional in the future. So, for now, whenever you go into menu mode, the sliders will be reduced. But rest assured, in game mode they are where you set them.
I wouldn't think MO has anything to do with that. MO only touches the INI if you ask it to.
