OR freezes after Intro

Hello,

I'm using the steam version of the game and then installed OR, but it freezes after the intro. When I try to load an old savegame, I can move and hear the game sounds, but there's a blackscreen. I disabled the steam overlay. I reinstalled it twice and it's still the same

You've probably done something wrong. ENB or ReShade? Do you have all the requirements?

Yes, got all the requirements. I'm not using ENB nor reshade. Got no other mods installed and did the recommended ini and graphics settings

Well, it sounds like you have what you need.  Just as a side note, I would not recommend OBMM.  It's very outdated.  For archive invalidation, search SkyBSA on Nexus.  Drop it in your OBSE plugins folder and you never have to worry about archive invalidation again.  Resources are handled "properly", like Skyrim with that plugin.  Get rid of OBMM, if you want a veterans advise.

As far as the freezing, I don't know. A clean Oblivion install shouldn't do that. Nothing pops in my head for you to try, however.

Thank you, but sadly it still didn't work out for me. The clean install works fine, but as soon as I copy the contents of OR into the game directory, I got the black screen problem. The intro appears, but right after the intro or when I load a savegame, its just black. I also tried disabling Freesync and enabling Vsync

Fixed it. Problem was the ingame Anti Aliasing. As I turned it off, it worked.

I knew it was something with your configuration. OR is solid enough on Nvidia. AMD is another story. Good you got it sorted though.
